Check out what's newThis Privacy policy explains how LIKIOMO (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you visit our marketing sites, create an account, use worker or hirer features, contact support, or interact with our microwork marketplace.
LIKIOMO is built for fair-pay microwork: short tasks, reviews, payouts, and trust tooling. Our team is based in Nairobi, Kenya, while we serve users in many countries. Where UK or EU privacy law applies to you, sections on rights and transfers apply accordingly.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of: contract (providing the service you asked for); legitimate interests (securing and improving LIKIOMO, fraud prevention, group communications that are reasonably expected); legal obligation; and consent (for optional cookies or marketing where required).
Workers and hirers see information needed to complete tasks—such as names or company names, ratings where shown, task text, and submissions.
We use trusted service providers, including Google Firebase / Firestore / Cloud for hosting, database, authentication, and related infrastructure; payment partners you select; email delivery; analytics; and verification vendors. They may only process data on our instructions and subject to appropriate agreements.
We may disclose data to regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the public.
Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States, and other countries where providers operate. Where UK GDPR / GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA / Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures as needed.
We keep data while your account is active and for a period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Task and payout records may be retained longer where required. Marketing suppression lists may be kept indefinitely.
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures—including encryption in transit where configured, access controls, and monitoring—to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use unique passwords and report suspected compromise promptly.
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing was consent-based. To exercise rights, email privacy@likiomo.co.uk. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Our sites may link to third parties (for example social profiles). Their practices are governed by their own policies.
We may use automated checks (for example fraud scoring or duplicate detection). Where a decision significantly affects you and applicable law requires, we will provide human review on request.
We may update this policy and change the Last updated date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
